Sometimes I am a fantabulous parent!

Yes a fantabulous parent! Is fantabulous a word you ask? Well of course it is not but that is not reason enough for me to stop using it.  I have been having this serious issue as of late with my daughter(kaylee). Now that she is getting older i am starting to notice that she has definately gotten my sense of humor and sillyness. My issues are that when i should be reprimanding her for something im usually borderline cracking up because she is so funny. Times when i know i should have a stern face and be disciplining her im usually holding back humongous amounts of cackling laughter.  I mean obviously i want to stick to my guns and teach her right from wrong but this girl is seriously hilarious and i just cant take it!  Does any other parents laugh when they should be scolding their child? I hope that its a normal occurrence and i'm not just some weirdo! .......

 For those who dont know, with LOTS of help from kaylee the fernette family has planted a garden this year.  We decided its a great way to get kaylee to eat some more veggies,and to add some vegetables to our dinners more often. Too often ill cook chicken with mac n cheese and no veggie type of meals.  Today while kaylee was outside playing i noticed the peas are starting to sprout! Soooooo exciting!!!   I figured might as well have a garden before the government makes it illegal to grow your own veggies and have a garden.  Now if i could just discover how to grow a money tree all would be grand!  This post is going to be a short one. As you can see not very much interesting goes on in my life al too often. Melissa is still in school finishing up her bachelors degree(1 year left). Then she moves on to her masters. I graduated Porter & Chester and am investigating other educational Avenues that i might be interested in doing.  Kaylee still goes to Jaduke preschool one day a week and does Tball on weekends.   I quickly wanted to share an experience i had with all my male friends with wives/girlfriends. DO NOT let your Gf/wife mow the lawn or you will never be able to do it agian. I made the mistake of letting melissa mow with the rider mower and ow i cant get her off that darn thing!!!!  What a mistake grrrr.  But come summertime i guess that gives me more time to sit in the pool. Sitting in the pool or any water for that matter is my happy place. it is the only place where i can say my back feels "normal". All the weight is taken off the discs/joints and it makes me want to invent a water suit :).

Sooooo as i sit here listening the the neighbor drive his mower around for hours on end I will say Adios Amigos! Hasta la bye bye!

Do you know the ones that i am talking about? The (mostly) girls sometimes guys,  who hate their jobs but  for some ungodly reason still work in the customer service occupation. Listen if you hate your life, and want to be rude to people who are obviously already at a doctors office because they have their own problems to deal with FIND A NEW JOB...... Be a trash collector... Or maybe be a Furniture repair person? Anything where you don't have to interact on a daily basis with any other person.  I'm not the type of person to be picky or critique someone either but holy COCK N BALLS cant you at least return the "hello how are you" that i offered when walking up to the reception desk?  

My experiences today involved me walking into my doctors  reception, saying hello not having the girl say anything back and just put her hand out for my paperwork. I had all i could do to bite my tongue and ask her why is she such a bitch. For anyone who knows me i'm very understanding and brush stuff off easily but today everyone hated their jobs, doctors Slammed you through like a puppy mill and no one cared about anything. It seems to be getting worse and worse every time i go to the doctors. When i arrived the lady in front of me had a 8:30 appointment with my Dr and the lady behind me had a 8:30 appointment with my DR... ?? my appointment was for 8:30 and melissa knew the lady in the back of me and she was still waiting for the doctor when we were back on our way driving on 91.... They just keep triple and quadruple booking people to get more and more $$......

BAH It only cost me $100 dollars in co pays to see 2 doctors today. My copay used to be $25 which was much more manageable. Speaking about co pays how about the ones they expected me to pay to go see Physical therapy 3 times/week after my FAI and Hip labral tear surgery. How do they just expect me to have a spare $150 laying around that i would not miss at all to pay for the Physical therapy. Do i wish that i was doing physical therapy? OF COURSE I DO, My hip is killing me and most likely not recovering the way that is should be, but i just cant justify spending $600 a month to go to a 30 minute PT appointment where they get you in late and rush you out because they are running late. Appointments usually never lead to anything being accomplished because there is no time for anything besides the Physical Therapist asking a few questions then kicking you out the door. So i did talk with my hip doctor today and he affirmed my suspicions that my deformed femur bones and FAI were most likely the cause of my destroyed back. SI joint and hips. Its nice to finally here a reason from a doctor as to why i am dealing with this clusterfuck Im dealing with. We are paying more for healthcare, getting less in services and most definitely having to deal with A SHIT TON of more grumpy customer service bitches! .... ............and bastards :)

                             If you have not guessed already my daughter kaylee was 100% in charge of coming up with todays blog post title. Although i don't understand it, it seems pretty Dope so we will keep it.  She wants to let everyone know she likes Mike and sulley and all of their monster friends.  So the other day i was sitting here taking a break from playing barbies and Hide and seek. I was playing on my computer and kaylee looked at me and in a wicked snotty voice said " Daddy don't you know your daughter is more important.... then the computer. You need to play with your daughter".  Are you kidding me? Where does she learn this stuff lol.  Needless to say it made me feel horrible but i did not want her to know that so i told her she couldnt talk to me that way but inside i was ROFL like a MofO!   She has the quickest wit ever for a 3 year old, she is definately my daily dose  of humor for sure.  Don't forget to check out my sponsors

                        I recently had a doctors appointment and we talked about me losing weight. I brought the topic up and the doctor gave me some pointers and pretty much the less i weigh the less pain i will have in my pinched nerve in my back. So Wife and I have decided to change everything we eat and are on a low carb low calorie diet.  It was very interesting going shopping for the first time looking for low carb items.  Melissa had told me pretty much shop around the outside edges of stores to eat the more healthy things. I said that was silly but after spending some time in the store and looking at items she was right. Milks, cheese items are healthy. Meats are healthy and of course veggies are OOBER healthy.  But how ok is it that shopping healthy is 2 to 3 times more expensive then buying junk food.  It should not be that way! Grrrrr.    

                       So for anyone who wants to follow my weight loss i will be updating it on my blog of course.  At my doctors appointment i was 266.5 LBS so i will use that as my starting weight. My goal is to get back down around 225 which is what i weighed while working at c&s wholesaler Grocers.  I kno when i was in bootcamp i was at my lowest weight which was 196 and i was a complete toothpick.  I dont want to be skinny skinny but i dont want to be Morbidly obese anymore either. I owe it to kaylee to lose some weight  so i can do more things with her and get my back healthy!   Can i lose 40 Pounds?  I think i can!  I have replaced bread with  this cool flax, bran pita stuff which is only 4G of carbs per pita. And they are actually fairly yummy.  But like i was saying i can get 6 Pitas for 6 dollars or i can get a whole loaf of bread for $1.......    Unacceptable I say!!!!!! BAM!

I wanna go to it right now but i cant because i cant. And i want to and i cant find my snow globe anywhere to make my wishes come true.  I paint really much at school i like to play dressup, and they got new costumes from upstairs at school.  i have friends in my class, they are patrick, xander, and ivy, and kaylee, and patrick, Madison and yes my teachers are ms juniper and ms dani.
