December 6th 2012. That was the date i had my Minimally invasive surgery to Correct my FAI and to clean out my labral tears in my left hip. For anyone who doesnt know i was diagnosed with bilateral FAI and Labral tears in both hips.
Here is some info on FAI Sooooooooo here we are 8 months post op and i have to say that my surgery was a complete failure. My surgeon was not too impressed when i told him it didnt work, in fact Theres more grinding, popping, cracking now and sometimes randomly when i step on my left leg something gets pinched in my groin and i have to remove the weight from my leg at warp speed! Im quite lost at this point, i know i have SI joint issues, What i dont know is which one caused the other one or what is my next step. I just finished 3 synvisc injections and those also dont seem to have improved the situation any. Bah humbug to doctors and their slow ass way of doing things.
Theres a chill in the air, evenings are getting down to around 45-50 degrees and you can tell fall is on its way! Days are still near 80 which is nice and i can totally handle the heat anyways. Its the cold weather im dreading. The snow, sleet, Aching spine type of weather where if i didnt have a kid i wouldnt even step outside ever. Bring on the haunted hayrides, hot cider and Leaves all over the yard! Bring on the sweatshirt wearing, jeans wearing, sock wearing weather. Im ready for you dammit. Heres to hoping everyone has a GREAT fall season and makes it through winter ok!
