Things to do this summer near greenfield, MA


Every summer we are always trying to find things to do in this erea.. I think we can all agree western mass isnt exactly the most happening place in massachusetts. So i am going to write everything I can find thats going on locally that might even be remotely fun to do and add it to this blog post.







Lets start with the Local Farmers market, It happens every saturday at 8am at the town common in downtown greenfield. Ive beena  few times and there is always some good deals to be had there!. Chec out their Website  http://greenfieldfarmersmarket.com/






Greenfield Swimming Pool - The greenfield swimming pool is located on nash;s Mill road in greenfield, MA. It is built into the river  with swimming access. There is also access to the bike path and a Nice playground. Grills are provided for cooking and there is a snack shop. Open June through September.







Goodnow's Chip and Putt -




18 hole short par 3 course. Clubs and golf balls  furnished. Open daily from 9 a.m. to dark. April thru  November. Located just 3 miles west of Greenfield  rotary, right on the Mohawk Trail.  Phone:  413-625- 6107

Poets Seat Tower - Poet's Seat Tower is a 1912  sandstone observation tower, located in Greenfield,  Ma. You can climb the tower(stairs) and have  Gorgeous views of the pioneer valley and greenfield.  located at Mountain Rd. and Maple St, You can drive  all the way up to the tower or hike and park in the  lower lot. Access to the tower is Free of charge.
