Wednesday was a crazy day in western mass. It was around 2:30 when melissa let me know it was going to rain so we ran around the backyard picking up leftovers from our memorial day cookout. The skies wer elooking really weird i remmeber thinking to myself. We headed inside and watch some news. There was some severe storm watches and warnings then there was a tornodo watch. I had to leave around 4 to head to chicopee to be at class for 6pm. It downpoured right before i left and no tornadoes had hit so i decided i would travel to school.
Once i got just south of exit 26 on 91 it was a complete mess. Windshield wipers could not keep up with the amount of rain. There was also small hail falling. Just past northampton it was so weird. It was sunny and calm. But it just felt weird out. I arrived at school and hopped on facebook. Melissa told me there was a tornado in springfield. I didnt know what to say. kinda crazy i remember thinking. She kept me updated while i was in school. My teacher heard there was a tornado enar his house so he had to leave and class was over. Right before we left it was hailing quarter size hial and you could see the clouds doing some weird things in chicopee. I watched some go straight up and seperate quickly, i saw the sun then gone again and more hail. I was more than ready to be home with melissa and kaylee. Wish i hadnt even gone to class to be honest. Everything ended up fine at home but other areas were hit hard, WE are lucky more deaths did not occur. Things like this really make me think about global warming and how texas is in a severe severe drought right now and weird weather trends are happening. I think more and more crazy events are on the way. Time to build a bomb shelter and stock it with food water and supplies. I hope everyone can rebuild after this tragic event and get back to life as normal as possible.
On the plus side. We did get to take our midterm home and have to hand it in monday. That works for me because i actually learn really good looking answers up. When i study i just dont retain information the way i would like to for some reason. Id also like to thank everyone who came to our memorial day cookout. It was a blast! Thanks katie and mark for putting up your Huge honking water slide the kids (and adults, KEN) loved it. It was a great day warm and sunny and lots of friends and family showed up. I especially wanna thank whoever brought that damn pulled pork and would like to Pay you to make me more lol. Thanks everyone for coming and having fun! Looking forward to many more cookouts this summer!
